4 Days wildebeest calving season safari

Morning: After breakfast,  we embark on a full-day game drive in the Ndutu area.

Following the Migration: Today’s focus will be on following the Serengeti Wildebeest migration, which may lead you either into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) or the Serengeti National Park, depending on their location.

Calving Season: If you’re visiting between January to March, witness the fertile plains transforming into calving grounds, attracting predators hunting on vulnerable young wildebeests.

Wildlife Spectacle: Experience the circle of life as you observe predators and prey in action, creating unforgettable moments.

Game Drive End:  We Wrap up the game drive around 5:00 PM.

Return: We Head back to your hotel or lodge.

  Half-Day Game Drive: Spend the morning exploring the Ndutu area, enjoying sightings of wildlife along with a picnic lunch.

  Departure to Ngorongoro Crater Rim: After lunch, depart Ndutu and head towards the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Enjoy the journey with some slight recreation activities along the way.

  Ngorongoro Crater: Reach the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s greatest geological attractions and a prime wilderness destination.

  Dinner and Rest: The day concludes with a hearty dinner and a comfortable rest in your chosen accommodation.

  Rest and Refuel: Take this opportunity to rest and refuel for the next day’s adventure.

  Optional Activity: Serengeti Balloon Safaris

  Consider experiencing a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti with Serengeti Balloon Safaris. Enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the park and witness the Serengeti Wildebeest Migration from above the sky. After the tour, gather for an “Out of Africa” English-style breakfast surrounded by the park’s lush plains.

  Ascent and Departure: After lunch, ascend steeply to the top exit of the crater, marking the final leg of your safari adventure.

  Return to Arusha: Embark on a 4-hour drive back to Arusha, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or lodge by 6:00 PM in the evening.
