Itinerary in Details

6:00 AM: Begin your day with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha by our experienced safari guide.

6:30 AM: Depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying scenic views of the Tanzanian countryside en route.

9:00 AM: Arrive at the entrance gate of the Ngorongoro Crater. After completing the necessary paperwork, descend into the crater, a unique and self-contained ecosystem.

9:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Spend the morning exploring the vast grasslands, acacia forests, and seasonal swamps of the Ngorongoro Crater, home to an impressive array of wildlife. Keep your camera ready to capture sightings of the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros) along with zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and a variety of bird species.

12:30 PM: Enjoy a packed picnic lunch at the scenic hippo pool while observing these massive creatures wallowing in the water.
